Le multi-instrumentiste et compositeur guin\u00e9o-belge N\u2019Faly Kouyat\u00e9 jouit d\u2019une vraie renomm\u00e9e internationale. Il a grandi \u00e0 Conakry, o\u00f9 il a re\u00e7u une formation musicale guin\u00e9enne tr\u00e8s traditionnelle et exigeante, avant de s\u2019installer \u00e0 Bruxelles en 1994 pour y obtenir son dipl\u00f4me au Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles. Peu apr\u00e8s, il entame une carri\u00e8re internationale, notamment comme membre d\u2019Afro Celt Sound System, qui conquiert le monde avec un m\u00e9lange unique de traditions africaines et celtiques, combin\u00e9es \u00e0 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de musique \u00e9lectronique.<\/p>\n

Au cours de sa carri\u00e8re solo, Kouyat\u00e9 devient le pionnier d\u2019un nouveau style, Afrotonix, une fusion de polyphonie et de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 \u00e9lectronique, en harmonie avec les instruments traditionnels et l\u2019h\u00e9ritage mandingue. Lors de ses nombreux voyages, il collabore notamment avec Peter Gabriel, William Kentridge, Phil Manzanera et Wyclef Jean.<\/p>\n

Son dernier album, \u00ab Finishing \u00bb, paru en septembre 2025, est un manifeste artistique v\u00e9hiculant des valeurs universelles telles que l\u2019unit\u00e9, la r\u00e9silience, la compassion et l\u2019engagement. Il marque l\u2019aboutissement d\u2019un parcours \u00e0 la fois spirituel et cr\u00e9atif \u2014 une invitation \u00e0 renouer avec l\u2019h\u00e9ritage ancestral tout en se projetant r\u00e9solument vers l\u2019avenir.<\/p>\n

Pour Kouyat\u00e9, il s\u2019agit d\u2019incarner un v\u00e9ritable pont vivant entre l\u2019Afrique et l\u2019Occident.<\/p>\n
